me: Dominik at my desk in Norway.

My goal is to increase your confidence, and guide you to build a product.

Right now, more people than ever are starting or about to start building.
Many of them will get frustrated, hold themselves back, and stop.

I don’t want you to stop.

Because a world where people are creating things they care about is a world where more people are excited about the future.
That’s the world I want to live in. When people create they show up differently in the world.

I’ve watched first-time builders, designers, product managers, run into the same problems product teams spend their career avoiding.

When anyone can build anything, the question isn’t can we build it, it’s are we building the right thing?

As building becomes cheaper and faster. We’re facing the same, and interesting new challenges.

I want to bring the lesson of the functional product team. What I’ve learned — and what I wish I’d been taught years ago/

Building isn’t just about creating something.

It’s about knowing what you’re creating — and why — before you commit too much time, energy, or belief.

I’m a designer by training and a builder by habit. I’ve moved across roles and industries, often because the old boxes stopped making sense. Writing here is how I slow down, make sense of what I’m seeing, and share it with others who feel the same pull to build — but want to do it with intention.

I write about learning.

Sometimes that looks like a story from a team I’ve worked with.
Sometimes it’s a mistake I made myself.
Sometimes it’s a question worth asking, or a question I’m starting to ask myself. Sometimes it’s something absolutely random I’m thinking about.

Though a lot of the foundations are the same.
Everything is changing, and I’m still figuring this out for myself.
I’d like to bring you along with me.
