Dominik, you have a TON of courage hitting "Send," leaving a job you spent many years building ... creating, really. You inspire folks who are afraid of letting go. I'm really curious where you wind up, and I hope you keep us posted through your essays.
You'll forever be on the top of the list of my favorite people. May we meet sometime in the future. God bless you and your family, there's only light in your path
Great piece! I like the use of light and flashlight as a thread throughout. It also speaks to our innate fear of change and the unknown and how we can challenge that through another perspective, namely the one where change offers opportunity and growth. I guess its fitting to throw in the Norwegian saying here: (roughly translated) The best things happens ouside your comfort zone. Good luck with your next step. Exciting👏🏻😊
Timelines in life are not as linear as the corporate world would lead us to believe. The world itself was created from a state of chaos and change. Take some time to go out and explore. Your going to do great! From reading this it appears you already are :)
This piece reminded me of a phrase that you yourself have written and that requires a lot of courage: "Bring in customers before you feel comfortable, don’t wait until you feel it's ready"
This doesn't just apply to customers, but to many other situations in life and you are proving it
Such a wonderful piece to mark an important milestone.
I’ve loved diving into your thought process and experience on this one and am SO EXCITED to see what you do next.
What is amazing for one person, might be a poor fit for another. This is a great reminder of that.
Onwards!!
Thank you Claire! exciting times ahead.

Hope to see you on the dark (hopefully semi-lit) side. It's very brave of you.

Jumping is for the brave.
Thanks for this Maria. I didn't think of this in that way. It's a good point :)
